Racin is a way of life for most Rednecks Most all racin fans have a little redneck in them. Some more than others and it really shows. This assorted list of characters is what makes NASCAR special. A man in a dress shirt can scream at the top of his lungs for the same driver as the redneck with an Earnhardt number three shaved in his hairy back. Besides, for that moment in time they are best buds in the family of racin rednecks.
This cast of characters is the glue that holds NASCAR together like a big family and if you are a non-fan, you will never understand racin rednecks. Until you choose a driver or drivers, one who you hate or one you love, then go to the track of your choice (Bristol) to feel the magic of "turning left". Feeling the thunder of forty-three cars rumbling in to turn one, and all the noise, the colors and speed of 800 hp flying by you in second. That is what Racin Rednecks live and dream of every weekend.
This hodgepodge theme of characters is clearly present in the driver’s seat these days. A clean cut polished kid from California was not typical in a sport full of racin rednecks a few years back. And some of us Redneck types have not adjusted well to all the so-called pretty boys wanting to be part of the racin. We are accustom to good o’ boy recnecks seating in all those cars. At any rate, progress is a good thing they say! Besides, as long as Dale Jr. and Elliott Sadler are still racin we will have a good o’ boy redneck in at least two cars.
There are some "got to haves" for a NASCAR fan. You have to be for someone and wish evil to come to another (on the track). I don’t mean bodily harm just blowing a tire or hitting the wall at 190 mph. Little details like that make the a racin fan’s blood pressure rise and sometimes even a little angry. In addition, wear the colors of your favorite driver is always proper dress code. A scanner and headset are great upgrades and take you inside the racin action.
With that said and more to come later. This site’s purpose is to help you the lifetime racin redneck and you the newbie TV fan to adjust to all this correct and diverse Bull puckie.
Time to Race!
